The Microbar is in the Market area of the massive Arndale Centre in Manchester. It's been around for a while and, unbelievably, been extended once already, to provide an off-licence. This micropub seems to be the only one not inspired by Martyn Hillier's Butcher's Arms. It's owned by the Boggart Brewery and always features their beers, plus others and a cider or perry.
It's a fixed location market stall surrounded by many others that sell all sorts of ready-made food from all over the world. Just around a corner is a fabulous wet fish stall and a local butcher that makes their own pies.
It's tiny and yet sells a large amount of British and Foreign bottled beers. There are seats and tables that serve all the market's stalls, just right to sip your beer whilst watching the trams trundle along Church Street.
